Sacramental Pathways

RCIA Part I, Enquiry Group (7 weeks)
A seven week enquiry course for those exploring the Christian faith, which could then grow into a full RCIA course with the addition of the thirteen catechetical sessions in Part 2.
RCIA Part II, Catechesis (13 weeks)
A thirteen week catechetical course for RCIA for those who have completed the RCIA Part I Enquiry Course beforehand.
RCIA, Complete Course (20 weeks)
A complete RCIA course for those preparing for the Sacraments of Initiation. This includes all twenty Sycamore modules.
RCIA, 18 Month Model (Recommended)
An expanded RCIA course involving all twenty Sycamore modules which alternate with twenty extra catechetical sessions based on the YouCat readings. This can be run as a two year programme with the first seven modules (spread over fourteen weeks) forming an enquiry period.
RCIA, Expanded Course (40 weeks)
An expanded RCIA course involving all twenty Sycamore modules which alternate with twenty extra catechetical sessions based on the YouCat readings. This can be run as a two year programme with the first seven modules (spread over fourteen weeks) forming an enquiry period.
Confirmation, Short Course (6 weeks)
A very short confirmation course for young people, when the parish is not able to support a longer course. Suitable for those in school Year 10 and above (age 14+) and possibly for those in school Year 9 (age 13+).
Confirmation, Standard Course (9 weeks)
A nine week confirmation course for young people. Suitable for those in school Year 10 and above (age 14+) and possibly for those in school Year 9 (age 13+).
Confirmation, Longer Course (12 weeks)
A twelve week confirmation course for young people. Suitable for those in school Year 10 and above (age 14+) and possibly for those in school Year 9 (age 13+).
Confirmation Parents, Short Course (4 weeks)
A short course of four weeks to support and encourage parents whose children are preparing to be confirmed.
Confirmation Parents, Longer Course (8 weeks)
A longer course of eight weeks to support and encourage parents whose children are preparing to be confirmed.
Infant Baptism Parents, Short Course (3 weeks)
A very short course of three sessions for parents who are preparing for their young children to be baptised
Infant Baptism Parents, Longer Course (6 weeks)
A longer course of six sessions for parents who are preparing for their young children to be baptised
First Holy Communion Parents, Short Course (4 weeks)
A short course of four weeks to support and encourage parents whose children are preparing for First Holy Communion.
First Holy Communion Parents, Longer Course (8 weeks)
A longer course of eight weeks to support and encourage parents whose children are preparing for First Holy Communion.
Adult Confirmation (8 weeks)
An eight week course for adults who are preparing for Confirmation. The course takes for granted a basic understanding of the Christian faith and helps those involved to deepen their faith and their commitment to living it out.
Reception into Full Communion (10 weeks)
A ten week course for baptised adults who are preparing to be received into the full communion of the Catholic Church from other Christian communities.
