Join Susan Longhurst, our Mission Development Manager, and the Westminster Evangelisation Team for an evening of information and sharing on how Sycamore resources can be used in a variety of situations. The evening will be especially helpful for those who are thinking about using Sycamore when the new pastoral year begins this September – in catechesis, faith formation and evangelisation. It will encourage and inspire those who are new to Sycamore, and help more experienced leaders to reflect on how they can use the resources even more effectively. The event will help you understand:

  • The breadth and depth of resources offered by the Sycamore programme
  • How to get the most out of the Sycamore website
  • The support offered by Sycamore
  • The variety and range of ‘Pathways’: how to find the course that suits the pastoral needs of your parish, school or chaplaincy
  • Practical advice about getting started
  • Sharing of good practice by experienced Sycamore leaders
  • There will also be an opportunity for small group discussion in breakout rooms to share experiences and ask questions

Please do think of coming yourselves, and do encourage others to come who are curious about Sycamore but unsure how it works or how it can be used effectively. We hope that Sycamore will help many communities to re-connect with people and reach out in new ways as the various national lockdowns begin to ease.
